Border Patrol Agent Accused of Molesting Arizona Girl

April 7, 2015

A U.S. Border Patrol agent is on paid leave after being arrested on suspicion of molesting a 5-year-old Chandler, AZ girl, multiple news outlets reported. Sierra Vista resident Jeremy Tyler Cole, 31, was arrested by Chandler Police after a family friend accused him of inappropriately touching her daughter. The victim’s mother told police she had woken up around 2 a.m. to check on an infant when she saw Cole exiting her 12-year-old daughter’s bedroom. Cole had said he was looking for towels. The woman told police she questioned her three daughters, ages 5 to 14, the next morning, and the youngest told her that a bald man had touched her in her “privates.” With the assistance of the Criminal Apprehension Unit, Chandler Police arrested Cole at his fiancée’s parents’ home in Peoria the next evening. Cole has been employed with the U.S. Border Patrol for more than three years and previously served in the U.S. Air Force. For more information, visit AZcentral.com.
