November 3, 2014

San Diego, CA, Nov. 3 – San Diego based law firm Estey & Bomberger, LLP, which represents victims of child molestation nationwide, is donating $100,000 to the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady’s Children’s Hospital-San Diego to aid in the healing process for victims of child sex abuse.

“We handle a lot of sex abuse cases here in San Diego and through our work with victims, we have become aware of the services the Chadwick Center provides to children and families; therefor, we want to help support that mission and ensure that children receive the help they need,” said Steve Estey, molestation victims attorney and founding partner of Estey & Bomberger, LLP. “The services Chadwick Center offers sex abuse victims are vital to the healing process and we want to ensure that Chadwick Center can continue to assist not only our clients, but all victims of sex abuse.”

The Chadwick Center is a hospital-based, child protection program designed to provide quality services for victims of child abuse. An accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance, the Chadwick Center’s vision is “to create a world where children and families are healthy and free from abuse and neglect.”

A portion of the donation will go toward funding the “Kids and Teens in Court” program. Through teaching relaxation skills and educating children on the court process, this unique program helps kids, teens, and their families feel more comfortable when testifying about what they may have experienced or witnessed.

The child molestation victims attorneys at Estey & Bomberger, LLP have successfully represented victims of child molestation in many high profile cases against large private and public institutions including school districts, foster family agencies, and healthcare facilities nationwide.
