    Tommy Obseo Jr., 56, a psychology, sociology, and American government teacher at Aurora High School, was arrested in March 2013 following a sting operation by the Homeland Security Investigations’ Cyber Crime Unit. Obeso was detained after he arranged to meet with someone he believed to be a high school student to engage in sexual intercourse. Calexico police then arrested Obeso on multiple counts: sexual battery, willful cruelty to a minor, contact with a minor with intent of sex, and arranging to meet with a minor, and harmful matter sent with intent of seduction of a minor. ​ Obeso retained new attorneys in January 2015 following a conflict, and  his trial was postponed until June 2015. .  News Source: Imperial Valley Press, KXO Radio
